We wholeheartedly support all of you who have left your home country and chosen to study in Japan to realize your dreams. Japanese language school is the first step in a long life abroad. During this most important period, you should not only learn about Japanese language, but also about Japanese culture and lifestyle, and gain valuable experiences through meeting various people. All of our school staff will do their utmost to support you so that you can make your dreams come true.

Educational Goals

|Admissions Information

Application guidelines and documents to be submitted

Application acceptance period

  1. Spring enrollment in April (late August to late September)
  2. Autumn enrollment in October(late March to late April)

Application Eligibility

  1. 1. Those who have completed 12 years of regular secondary school education in their home country or a foreign country.
  2. 2. Those who have someone who can reliably cover the tuition and living expenses required for studying in Japan, and who can prove the process of building up assets with documents such as bankbooks.
  3. 3. Two-year college preparatory course: Those who have completed more than 150 hours of Japanese language study and have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to N5.
    One-and-a-half-year college preparatory course: Those who have completed more than 300 hours of Japanese language study and have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to N4.

  5. ※Photographs must have been taken within three months of application, show the upper body only, with no hat and a plain background, and be clear. Please follow the details shown in the diagram on the right.

Required Documents

    Unless otherwise instructed, all certificates must be submitted as originals, not copies. For certificates written in languages other than Japanese, please attach a Japanese translation for each document. At the bottom of each Japanese translation, write the translator’s name, address, and telephone number, and affix a seal or signature to the right of the name.

  2.  1. Diploma or Certificate of Graduation from the final educational institution (If currently enrolled, submit a Certificate of Enrollment)

     2. Academic Transcript

  3. B. Certificates Related to Japanese Language Study
  4.  1. If you have passed any level of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), please submit copies of the certificate and score report.

    In addition, submit the original certificate of Japanese language study.

     2. If you studied Japanese in high school or university, please submit your academic records showing the results.

     3. If you attended a Japanese language school, please submit a Certificate of Completion.

  5. C. Certificate of Employment (if the applicant is currently employed)
  6. D. Financial Support Documents

     1. Bank Balance Certificate

     ★ If expenses are to be covered by a relative (as specified in Separate Form No. 6-3 [related to Article 6], page 3 prepared by the applicant, showing the relationship to the applicant), the following documents are required:

     1. Letter of Financial Support (designated form)

     2. Financial sponsor’s bank balance certificate, income certificate, certificate of employment, and bank transaction statements (for one year)

     3. Proof of family relationship (such as a copy of the family register)

    E. Copy of Passport

    F. Other documents required by the school

    ※ The application procedure for the Certificate of Eligibility required to obtain a student visa will be handled by the Japanese language school in accordance with regulations of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan, Ministry of Justice. Please submit the above documents together with the selection fee.

Eligibility Applicants who have graduated from high school or higher educational institutions overseas (with at least 12 years of formal education, or academic ability equivalent to 12 or more years of education).
〈College Preparatory 2-Year Course〉 Applicants must have completed at least 150 hours of Japanese language study and possess Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N5 level.
〈College Preparatory 1.5-Year Course〉 Applicants must have completed at least 300 hours of Japanese language study and possess Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N4 level.

Airport pick-up and various procedures

関西国際空港での送迎イメージ If you would like a transfer, our staff will pick you up at Kansai International Airport, the gateway to Osaka.
Staff will support you with the initial procedures, such as resident registration, but gradually you will be able to do the things necessary for life in Japan on your own.

Dormitory

If you wish, we will introduce you to an apartment located about 10 minutes by bicycle from the school. The apartment is equipped with the necessities of life, such as a bed and refrigerator, so you can start living comfortably from the day you move in.
There is also a large supermarket and a 100 yen shop within a 5-minute walk, making shopping very convenient.

Career Counseling

With the support of your homeroom teacher, you will be able to participate in open campus events, prepare application documents, answer questions in interviews, and do everything on your own.
Participate in school guidance sessions and joint information sessions at community centers, creating opportunities to meet with vocational schools and universities in a wide range of fields.

Connecting with the Local Community

E-Planet Japanese Language Institute places importance on local interaction. By interacting with the local people around the school, you can get a real sense of living in the local community.
Rather than simply commuting between home, school, and part-time work, students will also be able to experience Japanese customs and culture.

Club Activity Support

At E-Planet, students are taking the lead in forming a futsal team.
School staff provide some support, such as registering for tournaments, but students are responsible for coordinating practice times and other activities.
